buy two way radios has a lot of options, to tell the least, and it is unquestionably scarce that we come across radios that are fittingly packed taking into account features yet at a price point that does not seem elusive for the person just starting out in this field- it is amazing what this unit has to offer. The BF-F8HP is still substitute offering in this flooded market. Is it worth the price?

baofeng bf f8hp review
The BaoFeng BF-F8HP is a dual band handheld radio that improves upon the UV-5R behind more transmit capability based on a further generation chipset along in imitation of new concierge service. The BF-F8HP has the latest N5R-340A firmware which is not approachable upon any other model from BaoFeng.
Lets dive in into the pros and cons of this nifty little unit
Pros
Cost
easy to use out of the box
good hermetically sealed feel and seems decent reception (with rubber ducky ) and fine transmit power.
For the most allowance the encyclopedia allowed me to start listening from morning one (no license at the time).
decent battery animatronics as soon as scanning only.
Simplex mode simple to figure out
Cons
Display is difficult to get into in the manner of polarized sunglasses
duplex and repeater use has proven to be trial and error
you may need to use the USB cable and computer to configure.
Seem memory mode does not stock PL code, offset, etc.
Difficult to program, especially for long get older hams used to new radios programming. even if others may be frequency, tone, save, these Baofengs are frequency, save, tone, offset, offset +/-, save making it more difficult to manually program. Some radios have automatic offset, these reach not.
