Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, also called Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. He has impressed millions of people worldwide with his unique telling of the Word of God.

Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the son of the elder of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God’s Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her faith in God’s grace to her son very early.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel singers.

Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the way of her father, spreading the Gospel of God to the world. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to enter the ministry and to serve the Lord.

While still at university The Man of God started what would later become the largest church in the world. It began as an uninvolved group of believers called ‘Youth for Christ’. The group would later grow to be the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers around the world.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite television and Christian television programming and production. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa through free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks all over the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The church operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which the power of God is demonstrated.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF], Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all under the COFI umbrella. Each of these organizations strives to improve the well-being, health and spirits of those who are most vulnerable.

His charitable organization offers food and shelter to the poor. Pastor Chris believes in the support of strong communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the development of accountable governance, good governance leadership and sustainable development in Africa and other vulnerable regions in the world, according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
