NEW YORK – September 8 2022new record-breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over the year before seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. “The United States has been the most important destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking numbers of Israel’s tourism entry each month.

Canada is set to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) declared that “it is exciting to watch how Canada’s tourist to Israel is booming.” We’re close to reaching our record numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more at home in Israel.

Israel has hosted more than 4.6million visitors in the year 2019, 969,600 of which were from the United States. Since May when the country was opened to all visitors, regardless of their vaccination status, more than 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
