NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/Record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 13% improvement from the year before.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, “It’s so exciting to witness a further increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, already exceeding or even surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019”. “The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we were celebrating record-breaking figures of tourist entry every month. Canada is on track to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists in the year 2019 and this included 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless whether they have been vaccinated. It has already hosted over 600,000.
