NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over the year before, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.

Canada is not far behind the United States of America, is on track for surpassing the tourist numbers to Israel. It had 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 as well as 6,000 visitors in August.
