Pastor of faith, faith healer TV host, author, Chris Oyakhilome, known by his fans as Pastor Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. His distinctive interpretation of the Bible has been a source of inspiration for millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the oldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace on her son from an early age.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. His brother Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon follows in her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word to the world. Also known by CSO her name, she is a talented, award winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the location where he sensed God calling him to become a minister to the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of largest in the world. His small prayer group, ‘Youth For Christ’ would eventually become one of campus’ most well-known groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station broadcasting from Africa 24/7 on free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite TV networks around the world.
