Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. He is the oldest son born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her divine grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the most revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where several gospel artists are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father’s model of sharing the Gospel of God with the world and is also called CSO She is a gifted gospel singer who has won awards and is a an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of the largest in the world. His prayer group, ‘Youth for Christ,’ would soon become one of the campus’ most popular groups. They would later go on to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under Pastor Chris’s leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa via free-to -air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa. Oyakhilome These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season that enable miraculous events to occur.
