    Like all good detective stories, what Seems Easy at First becomes much more than this at Disco Elysium — and here it gets so, so much stranger, also. It requires the age-old mechanics of tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and spins them in odd ways around a gruesome tale of poverty, violence, and a society on the brink of collapse. Through sharply written dialog and a professionally crafted world, it utilizes some special game mechanisms – such as debating against 24 different segments of your own brain – to produce a story that will stay with me for quite a while. And, finally it manages to create all of this enjoyable and, surprisingly often, amusing. With the addition of a completely voiced throw and even more side quests to embark , The Final Cut creates an incredible game much better.

Each decides the base stats for your nameless gumshoe and influences the choices offered to you from the get-go, however all of them offer an interesting approach to playwith.
